The Political Science program is designed for students who want to work in campaigns and government; teach government andhistory in high school; or who want a traditional liberal arts major which prepares them to think critically and enter a widevariety of business and other nongovernmental organizations. A departmental major field test is required before graduation.

* For this degree a student must complete at least 39 hours upper division (3000-4999) credit hours.

* Six hours of foreign language at the intermediate-level are required for the B.A. degree. Students may be required to enroll inelementary-level, foreign language classes to satisfy the prerequisites for intermediate-level foreign language classes.
