Course Description
Prerequisite: CSDI 1030, 2020;
Description: This course is designed to expose the student to the developmental
processes of literacy acquisition and the relationship to language, including metalinguistic and metacognitive skills. The roles and responsibilities of the speech-language pathologist in prevention, assessment and treatment of disorders of reading, writing, and spelling are explored.
